I caught KIDS INSANE on their 2016 spring tour with DEFEATER and BREAK EVEN. I was pretty close to get the latter two bands to join in, as well. But due to obvious and sincere arguments as well as a simple misunderstanding I did not work out that night.

Luckily, KIDS INSANE agreed weeks before the show to join FMA.

It’s the only band from Israel I interviewed during this project. Further it’s the only Israeli band I know beside USELESS ID.
Despite the fact that just very few bands make it out of this country and receive the opportunity to play more international stages and tours there is a vivid and blooming Israeli scene as portrayed in articles and even critically acclaimed documentaries.

On that night I also met Josie of Holding.The.Moment. She moved here to study photography. We chatted about past shows at JuHa Roßwein and Chemnitz. It’s crazy to see where photography and passion took her within the scene. Nothing but positive envy and respect!
